OUR STORY
A Family Vision for Senior Living
Cosmopolitan Village is privately owned by the Wu Family. It was initially designed in 2007 for students, but morphed into retirement accommodation as part of a family vision to provide for the older members of our community.
The Cosmopolitan Village stands apart. It is independently owned by Mr. Jimmy Wu, whose primary focus is providing affordable, safe, and warm housing for people over 55. We offer secure living under a straightforward right to occupy agreement. This model provides you with the peace of mind and security of retirement village living, without the traditional complexities and high costs of property ownership.

Denise Te Tai
General Manager
A one-time nurse with over 30 years' experience in residential and retirement living. Denise worked at the Roskill Masonic in the late 1990s before being seconded to Selwyn Village and has headed Cosmopolitan since 2014.
Karen Provan
Support Services
Karen is a valued member of staff providing support services including cooking and housekeeping. Together with Denise, they go out of their way to provide a personal and caring service catered to each resident's unique needs.
